Find the crabby

I have a lot more photos that I took at Peggy's Cove last month, and with all the other travel we have been doing, there has not been much time for me to sit still for long stretches of time and touch photos. So here is another set as well as a photo I took of Maureen in Muncie. There is something different about this photo of Maureen. can you figure it out?

I am shocked

http://www.dundurn.com/dymk
Is the location of the publishers web page designed and posted for Does Your Mother Know. It is covered with my photos. We love it, and it is so wonderful to have a web page designed for Maureen and her new book.
Copy and paste the link at the top and check it out.

Lit Fest in Windsor

Last weekend we took the train to Windsor as Maureen was one of the featured authors. Louise Penny and Maureen were the only two mystery authors invited, which can be a red flag for these kinds of events. Unfortunately lit fests tend to attract people who are not really hard core mystery fans. So it is good that authors get to meet new fans, but they tend not to be familiar with an authors work. No matter, the art gallery where the event was held faced onto the Detroit river, and is a beautiful building. We got to see some of Maureen's family as well.

How I entertain myself in a hotel room

When I saw Fay Wray tied up by natives on the island where King Kong lived, I thought it appropriate to shoot that and me in the mirror while my wife was off at a panel somewhere in Muncie during the Magna Cum Murder conference. We are off to Windsor today for the Windsor writers festival where Maureen is one of the featured authors. This travel thing is getting to us a lot. Tired and grumpy. But it is necessary for an author to keep promoting themselves when they have a new release, in this case Maureen's new novel Does Your Mother Know. Did I tell you that we have an agreement about to be signed with Shaftesbury Films for the sale of this book? They want to do a series featuring a female Forensic Profiler with a Canadian hook. Read Does Your Mother Know and you will find that hook. To say we are blessed in an understatement. We read the story synopisis of the first 13 episodes of the Murdoch Mysteries television series. Except for a few blips, it is very good. They will be able to iron the rough edges out, so no worries here. Still buzzed from all the fun we had at Magna. Stay tuned, I will post lots more photos, just trying to get caught up.
